2009 Spring Political Elections

The spring election is April 7th, and below is a press release I recently sent out indicating our endorsements for City Council. Below that release is a picture of a billboard, which is currently located on inbound East Washington Ave between Baldwin and Few. A second billboard will be going up at the intersection of First St and Johnson St one week before the election.

Our goal is to aggresively campaign for Bridget Maniaci, who is running for the District 2 seat currently held by Brenda Konkel. Along with the billboards, we are planning to run some print ads in the Cardinal and the Herald, which are both student publications. We are also planning a literature drop in District 2 a week before the election. The literature drop will require some volunteers. As for state elections, we have endorsed Steve Ehlke for Circuit Court Judge (www.ehlkeforjudge.com) and Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson.
