2nd Annual 911 Family and Friends
Mallards Game
Hello again 911 Family....
Update. I've think we should try
something different this year. It's a new feature at the ballpark,
just recently completed, and it appears to be pretty slick. I
didn't know about it when I sent the original e-mail back in
January but I know about it now. I talked to the "new guy",
Conner, in charge at the park (Vern got promoted) and he has
agreed to give us discounted tickets. It's called the "TDS
Triple Play Club" and it consists of a section down the
left field line that is made up of 228 original Wrigley Field
seats, here
is a link to check it out,
Especially note that not only do you get a ticket to the game,
BUT THE TICKET PRICE ALSO INCLUDES ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT-AND-DRINK
ballpark food and soda **AND** three alcoholic beverages per
person. Along with some other stuff that you can read about when
you click on the link.
ALL FOR ONLY $20 PER TICKET (!!!!) (I
know, can you believe it??)
So......I need an exact head count,
and I need it fairly soon. Conner said that the TDS Triple Play
Club is extremely popular and that tickets are selling fast.
I'm hoping that I can call in the order soon enough to allow
all of us to sit together so we can get some body passing in
without having to pass and/or be passed above total strangers,
that might be awkward for some.
The date is June 17th, game time
is 7:05 p.m. - gates open at 5:30 p.m. The opponents are the "Battle
Creek Bombers" (does that really matter?) , and it is also
General Communications T-shirt night (to the first 500 fans).
As stated earlier, tickets are $20 apiece (includes tax, but
not my tip). Kids 5 years old and under are free, but they don't
get a seat, they have to sit on mom or dads lap.
Let me know
who's going, the more the merrier. Anyone and everyone is invited,
friends and family alike, no restrictions. Please let me know
within the next few days and if you've already sent me an e-mail
saying you're going please send me another one just to confirm
that you are still interested. Last year we had a head count
of 42, I'm hoping to beat that this year.
THANKS MUCH!!!
